SoFlo's Davie/Fort Lauderdale office is our newest location. Our founder Adam Shlomi is a South Florida native who is excited to be expanding SoFlo within Broward County. From this Griffin Road office we hire and train our in-home tutors and develop curriculum for our online students from around the world.
As South Florida locals we are familiar with special Florida programs like the Bright Futures Scholarship. The Bright Futures Scholarship is funded by the Florida Lottery and students who reach certain achievable SAT scores are granted either $19,000 or a $25,000 scholarship. The scholarship can cover four years of undergraduate college tuition.
We also have expertise on the different colleges across the state. Whether you want to be in Gainesville and Tallahassee or stayer close to home at FIU or FAU, we know what these Florida colleges are looking for. After studying with SoFlo our students go on to be Gators, Knights, and Seminoles.
We are proud to be exceptional tutors. Our founder Adam Shlomi went to Georgetown University, scored a 1570/1600, and has been tutoring for the last 5 years. Our tutors have similar backgrounds. All of our teachers went to top schools, crushed the SAT, and are young enough to relate to our students. The last tutor we hired, John Zarrilli, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton. We understand the pressures of being a student studying for the SAT and are able to empathize and connect with our students.
We are proud of our work. On average our students improves 110 points after 10 sessions, but we encourage you to do your own research and read our reviews.
We build a personalized strategy based on our student's strengths and weaknesses. Every student is different and because all of our tutoring is 1-on-1 we are able to personalize lessons to maximize a student's potential.
Our tutors all come from top universities, crushed the SAT, and are fun to work with. We make sure there is strong chemistry between tutor and student. Learn more about our tutors here.
With our online tutoring you get the personalized attention of private tutoring at the cost of an SAT prep class. Tutoring starts at $60/hour.
Our average student improves 110 points after only 10 sessions. 110 points on the SAT means more college acceptances, more scholarship money, and more opportunity. Change your score, change your life.
Our tutoring is not the right fit for everyone. Maybe your child isn't comfortable using Skype, or doesn't have the time to commit to tutoring. We understand and so we operate on a no contract basis. You pay us if you like us.
