Explanation for Question 4 From the Writing Section on the 2018 March Sat
Hey everybody. So question four is going to be dealing with now. 2 And this is one of those questions where they're asking us, 3 should they add the following sentence? 4 So first things first, when we hit question like this is, 5 um, you know, we should be already doing this as we read along, 6 but I want to just read through the entire paragraph again real quick, 7 and then see if this makes sense to add in at the end. 8 So I'm just going to read through that a little speedily right now, 9 and you can do it along with me. Conventional agriculture uses 70% of the 10 world's available drinking water for irrigation or vertical farming techniques. 11 Techniques are much more efficient in its use of water using drip irrigation to 12 water, the roots of plants directly, rather than irrigating the soil around the plants. 13 Vertical farms use less water than traditional places like farms, 14 other water, efficient methods available to vertical farmers, 15 our hydroponics spending plants and troves of circulating 16 on a tr nutrient rich water and aeroponics. 17 You're getting plants with only water vapor and nutrients. 18 Um, so this is asking us, 19 should we add in this sentence down here, 20 which reads wheat, corn, 21 and rice are problematic to grow in vertical farms because of the large amount 22 of spaces, crops require relative to the amount of food they produce. 23 It wants us to throw this in at the end. 24 So when thinking about this, we need to think about, 25 does it ...
