Explanation for Questions 13, 14 From the Reading Section on the 2018 March Sat
Hey guys. So question 13 and 14 are joint question, 2 and we're going to have to find evidence for answer to question 13. 3 Now what I generally tell. So answer these questions is okay. 4 Try and look at the evidence first and then come back and try and 5 figure out the question. Now I want to do that same tactic here. 6 Let's just read through these and try and figure out what we need to 7 deal with, or just get a good idea of how these quotes are going 8 to play into what we need to do. So if we go back and 9 read 19 to 22, it says triplet acknowledged that his observations were far from 10 rigorous. So it conducted an experiment to show that the effect persisted in a 11 tightly controlled lab study, 12 uh, 23 to 24 says triplet recruited 40 13 children ages eight to 13 to complete a study in 1897 lines, 14 27 to 29 read the task was simple but novel. 15 And none of the children had played with fishing rods before the experiment. 16 So they're doing something that they haven't done before. 17 And 29 to 32 says that they, 18 to others, it says they perform the task both alone and in the presence 19 of other children and triplets notice that students notice that they, 20 while on this real is faster in the presence of others. 21 So those are, those are lines right there. 22 And usually I try and identify a quote that fits in. 23 But with this question in particular, what we're doing is they're trying to find, 24 um, a line that rules out a potential objection to 25 his findin...
