Explanation for Question 29 From the Writing Section on the 2021 May Sat (International)

Hey guys. So question 29 is going to be dealing with proper use of 2 plurality when we're using we're using verbs. 3 So just six, some simple rules real quick is that if we have the 4 word like, or like run, um, 5 we would add an S to this when something is singular, 6 like he runs and if it's plural, 7 like they would do, they run super simple rules. 8 We would do, um, something like he is running. 9 If it's singular and they are running, 10 if it's plural or running. 11 And lastly, um, 12 he has run versus they 13 have run. So if you just need to remember these rules, 14 maybe even write these down in your notes and just remember these, 15 and what you need to do especially is look at, 16 um, each sentence and figure it out. I want something that's plural or singular 17 here. And this sentence here says the results of the study blank. 18 So is it as results, plural or singular? 19 Well, it's clearly plural because it says results, 20 not the result of the study. So we need to figure out which one 21 of these is going to be, um, giving us a plural or a plural 22 option. Well is suggesting, 23 is, um, for singular, 24 like he is suggesting not, they are suggesting has suggested once again, 25 as we can say, he has wronged me, it would have to say, 26 um, this, the results of this study have suggested. 27 Now we need to be. Now we are between suggests and suggest. 28 Well, they suggest versus he suggests, 29 um, shows us that the one to ask is for singular. 30 Whereas the one with no S um, is for plural. 31 So option a no change is going to be correct.
