Um, so let's go ahead and start here. 3 We'll start right here, uh, Jamaica, which, which is having achieved independence from great 4 Britain less than three years earlier, was in the process of forming a government 5 for the United States. Meanwhile, was on the path to expanding civil rights for its 6 citizens. Um, 7 and so we're considering doing this and should we make this revision? 8 So first thing I want to do is we've read up here. 9 I'm going to read downwards a little bit to get some more context. 10 And so the sentence after says for both countries, 11 the quest for political and social rights was a late in with setbacks. 12 So that sense, it makes it sound as though there is a quest for 13 political and social rights, the important part in both countries of 14 countries, right? 15 So our two countries are Jamaica in the U S and so we can 16 ask ourselves, well, what are their quests? 17 What specifically are each's quest for the political and social rights? 18 And for Jamaica, their quest is referred to as the government, 19 like we see up here, but as it's written, 20 without adding this extra information, 21 we don't actually know what the us is. Quest is, 22 I'm sure you might say, okay, 23 well it says social rights. So maybe it's civil rights, 24 but they don't tell us. And that's the key. 25 We want to be explicit this adding this particular sentence clears 26 up...
