And all these elegancy is. 11 So a lot of the words, horses in this are, 12 are things like astonishingly elaborate, 13 rich loaded, sleek, 14 gorgeous richly, um, 15 and all of these different sorts of words that indicate the extent of luxury 16 that is really being witnessed here. So knickknacks and concoctions have a 17 sort of different meaning they are intended to express, 18 um, maybe a little bit of the reality of the situation. 19 So Carrie is emphasizing all of these beautiful qualities of all these things 20 that she is seeing knick-knacks, um, 21 makes it appear like next, or are sort of items with, 22 uh, not a very clear purpose or function, 23 things that are kind of just lying around, maybe cluttering up a space a 24 bit.
