Question number 10, according to the passage, 2 Carrie judges, the performance of the actress who played the sweethearts hero, 3 or excuse me, the hero sweetheart, as what, 4 how does Carrie judge the performance of this actress? 5 This description is taking place in our 6 last paragraph on the passage. 7 Um, she's running scenes of the play and 8 she remembers this beautiful actress. 9 Um, and Carrie describes how 10 it was done as she was sure she could do it. 11 There were places in which she could even do it better. 12 Hence she repeated the lines to herself. So Carrie has this feeling that not 13 only could she do, maybe as well as this actress did in portraying the 14 role, but maybe she could even do better. 15 So here Carrie is, 16 you know, thinking about how, if only she could have such a part, 17 um, and, and how she would do in the role. 18 So looking at our answer choices, 19 um, she believes that the performance of this actress was choice 20 a inferior in certain respects to the performance that she believes herself to be 21 capable of giving inferior and that she could have done it better. 22 Um, so that's the idea expressed in that last paragraph choice be dissatisfying 23 and its emphasis on physical grace. That's not really true. 24 We noticed from that paragraph that Carrie actually really enjoyed and found this performance 25 moving because of those visual elements, 26 a choice C says clumsy and melodramatic yet superior to the other actors performances. 27 There's nothing to suggest that she used as clumsy and also there's no comparison 28 to the other actors. So choice C doesn't quite fit. 29 Uh, answer choice D says difficult to watch because of the intense suffering it 30 evoked. While Carrie was moved by this performance, 31 she didn't find it difficult to watch. So D isn't quite accurate either that 32 leaves answer choice, I as a correct choice for number 10.
