So question 23 is going to be dealing with parallel structure, 2 which, you know, a lot of the sat is going to be dealing with. 3 So I need to do is take this part of our sentence here and 4 make sure the plurality and the temps and things like that match up 5 with the rest of the sentence as we're going to do with most of 6 our sentences. So this reads a specialist within the field of psychology or underlined 7 department. Industrial slash organizational psychologists are 8 hired by companies to apply psychological principles and research methods workplace. 9 So what we need to do is make sure that we're being parallel throughout 10 the sentence. And so when we start off by saying blank, 11 uh, within the field of psychology, 12 we need to talk about that in the same plural, 13 um, tents that we're using for us saying a second later industrial organizational 14 psychologists. 15 So the problem with our answer choice a is, 16 is this is singular rather than plural. 17 This just says us specialists within the field, 18 industrial psychologists are hired by companies. 19 That doesn't really make sense. So we need to look through our answer choices 20 and find one that actually works with this. 21 And, you know, we can take a quick look so we can get rid 22 of a right there. These says specialists within the field of psychology, 23 industrial organizational psychologists are hired by, 24 okay. That one seems like it works because it's plural. 25 This one says being a specialist within the field, that's again, 26 singular. This one says those that are specialists within the field. 27 Once again, that's referring to specific individuals, 28 those that are specialists, rather than just giving us a simple plural, 29 um, parallelism to the rest of our sentence, 30 as we're getting with option B.
