[Video] Q3: Question 3 from the math (no calc) section of 2018 march sat

Explanation for Question 3 From the Math (No Calc) Section on the 2018 March Sat

Question three asks what is the sum of three X to the fifth plus 2 four X squared plus eight and 12 X to the third minus two X 3 squared plus six. So all we have to do here is add and subtract 4 light chirps. I'm gonna rewrite this, 5 but, uh, putting light terms next to each other. 6 So three X to the fifth, I'll take that from here. 7 Plus a 12 execute plus 8 negative two X squared plus four 9 X squared plus eight plus 10 six. And then we can add and subtract like terms and we get 11 three X to the fifth. Cause that's the only number two, 12 the fifth plus 12 extra third again, 13 the only number two, the third plus negative two X squared plus four X, 14 which is two X squared plus eight plus six, 15 which is 14. And so we know that the answer is 16 answer.
