Explanation for Question 34 From the Writing Section on the 2018 April Sat

Hey guys. So question 34 is going to be dealing with idioms and with 2 any of them questions, we're just going to be basing off of what sounds 3 right. And what is commonly used here? The one type of sat question where 4 you're really going to want to base it off of what sounds right. 5 And here we're using the term blank wisdom, 6 and it's just trying to figure out what is the common phrase. 7 And people are talking about something that people normally know, 8 everyone, you know, believe something. 9 And this is the blank wisdom of today. 10 Now the phrases are conventional habitual routine and accustomed. 11 Now accustomed wisdom is probably something you've never heard before. 12 So it doesn't, no one really says it. And that's not a phrase routine 13 and habitual wisdom. Similarly, just aren't common phrases. 14 No one says habitual wisdom or routine wisdom, 15 even though they mean the same thing, really as conventional financial wisdom is 16 a common phrase used here conventionalism is wisdom that belongs to a convention to 17 what is, you know, the common thing that everyone is doing. 18 That's why conventional wisdoms will sort of work here. 19 We're going to base that off of what sounds right to me.
