So this sentence says that many of the moves in the dance such as 2 jumps roles and kicks are similar to martial arts and acrobatics. 3 And so this is something that you would have said in conversation, 4 right? You probably would have just said martial arts and acrobatics, 5 but this is a more subtle grammatical rule that you will see tested on 6 the, on the sat. And so the question is what is similar, 7 right? What is similar to martial arts and acrobatics, 8 and it's the moves. So as it's written, 9 we're comparing the moves to marshal we'll call 10 acrobatics. We'll just say acrobatics. So we're comparing the moves to acrobatics, 11 but we're not saying that the moves are like acrobatics as a whole, 12 right? We know that we're comparing the moves in the dance. 13 Two moves in acrobatics. 14 And so you actually have to be explicit about that, 15 right? 16 You can't just say that moves are like acrobatics because there are two very 17 different things. A move is one motion. 18 Whereas acrobatics is a whole discipline of movement, 19 right? So we need to be comparing the moves of one to the moves 20 of another. And so for doing that a is not written correctly. 21 Now B just makes it worse. Right? B makes it more explicit that we're 22 trying to say, we're comparing moves to disciplines and that's not true. 23 We want to make the same comparisons. We want to make moves to moves. 24 So B is wrong because it says disciplines. Now C says, 25 martial artists, this is even worse possibly because now we're comparing the moves 26 to people, to the artists. And we can't compare moves to people because they're 27 not the same thing. Now these says those. 28 Now those is not necessarily obvious, 29 right? But we know that when we say many of the moves and the 30 dance to those of martial arts, 31 those takes the place of moves. 32 Those actually means moves. 33 And so D is correct because in D we're comparing moves to moves.
