So to do this question, 3 we need to know what is the previous paragraph saying? 4 Previous paragraph is separate over a couple of, couple of pages here, 5 so that's a little bit annoying, 6 but that's okay. Um, so we're saying that in spite of its uses, 7 a lot of times compost is wasted, 8 right? So we put a lot of it into the landfill and even worse. 9 It, um, it can not break down, 10 right? So methane cannot break that or the compost cannot break down and then 11 eventually releases methane, which is a powerful greenhouse gas. 12 So there, we're kind of talking about all the detriments of actually putting compost 13 into a landfill. Now sentence for answer choice. 14 Hey says, well, composting can sometimes lead to accidental pollution through the release of 15 methane gas. 16 So that's something that we bring up in the paragraph, 17 but it's a very specific detail, right? It only comes up in the very 18 last sentence here. And so we go on right 19 to say that cities such as San Francisco haven't studied mandatory laws, 20 requiring people to separate bins for compostable waste. 21 And so we can also see that methane gas isn't necessarily tied specifically to 22 the next part of our sentence.
