Explanation for Question 25 From the Reading Section on the Official Sat Practice Test 8

Okay, so 25, 2 we're gonna do, we're going to go back into the line 20 and we're 3 going to replace rules. We think should be a word that comes to our 4 mind. So let's go to line 20. 5 Let's find that. Okay. So, 6 um, I say the word rule right here in yellow. 7 Um, so as a new behavior highlights that different forces ruled the nano world. 8 Well, basically they're using the word, the word rule here, 9 like you would use for like a leader of the free world, 10 like, oh, the president of the United States rules, 11 the country, or like the king rules, the kingdom, 12 right. It's kind of like, they control the kingdom, 13 they run the show. Um, they're in charge, 14 right. So that's kind of what I'm looking for here. Um, 15 and we see that, you know, mark does not mean that declares not to 16 do restraint is not mean that either none of those things mean control or 17 like run. And so the, the closest we're to Ron and the closest words 18 of control is control, which is letter B. So it's really helpful if you 19 kind of make your prediction before you even read the answer choices. 20 Um, so I definitely recommend doing it this way.
