Okay, so we are now on question one here. 2 Um, question one is kind of similar to a main idea question, 3 but it's a little bit different. So instead of just asking what is the 4 main idea instead, it's kind of asking us, 5 where do we start and where do we end up? Um, 6 like over the course of the passage, the main focus is the main shift 7 or main idea focuses on what to what. So we're going to try to 8 predict this answer before we actually look at the answer choices, 9 um, based on our main ideas that we had written for each paragraph. 10 So in the beginning of the paragraph or the meaning of the passage, 11 our first main idea that we wrote down was that there was a conflict 12 with the father over his passion for reading and writing. 13 But then by the end of the story, we're now taken to this experience 14 that you had with Charles Dickens book, 15 um, that really influenced him in a positive way and kind of became his 16 refuge. 17 Um, so we're, we're taught about his passion for reading and writing in the 18 conflict of his father, but we actually end the story with, 19 with a tale of the time that he got this book by Charles Dickens, 20 from his bookstore owner, um, and how impacted him. 21 That's kind of like how it shifts, right? So basically all I did to 22 get to this answer is I just looked at my, 23 uh, main idea for paragraph one. And then it looked at my main idea 24 for the last two paragraphs.
