Question 11 says the main purpose of the passage is to what? 2 So you can always look at the first paragraph and the last paragraph of 3 the passage to determine the main purpose, 4 just because that's going to give you the introduction of the ideas that are 5 going to be talked about in the passage and the conclusion of the ideas 6 based on the package. So let's look at those two places in the reading. 7 So we're not going to read through the whole first paragraph, 8 but we can look at the topic sentence and the conclusion sentence of the 9 introduction. So the topic sentence says the news is a form of public knowledge. 10 So already right off the bat, we know that this article is going to 11 be about news as a form of public knowledge. 12 And then if we look at the conclusion to this paragraph, it says in 13 short, the circulation of public knowledge, including the news is generally regarded as a 14 public good, which can not be solely demand-driven driven. 15 So you can also see from this last paragraph that or 16 not the last paragraph, the last sentence of the first paragraph that we're going 17 to be talking about, how public knowledge is regarded specifically 18 the news.
