Question two asks us. 2 It says the graph above shows the positions of Paul and mark during a 3 race Paul and mark each ran at a constant rate and mark was given 4 a headstart to shorten the distance he needed to run. 5 Paul finished the race in six seconds and mark finished the race in 10 6 seconds. So let's make note of that. According to the graph, 7 mark was given a headstart of how many yards, 8 all right. So let's look at this graph and essentially we're trying to 9 figure out the relationship between these words and see how it's translated into this 10 graph. And we're also trying to find that last piece of the puzzle to 11 figure out how many, how much of a headstart in yards was mark given 12 in relation to Paul. All right. 13 So we can see that this line right here, it's, 14 Paul's Paul's movement essentially, 15 and we're plotting time versus his distance in yards. 16 And we see this line is Mark's movement. 17 And again, we've got time on the X axis and distance on the Y. 18 So we actually don't need to know anything about how quickly they finish the 19 race in six seconds. Although they do show that on the graph right here, 20 we know that this dotted line is the end of the race. 21 And we can see that Paul reaches the dotted line after six seconds. 22 Whereas mark reaches it after 10. 23 So we can see that by going down to the X axis here, 24 but we actually don't need any of that to answer the question, 25 to answer it.
