Um, so we'll start with a, 5 it says the designer envisions the games, fundamental elements, 6 the settings, elements, characters, and plot that make the game unique and is thus 7 the primary creative force behind the game. 8 And we see that they use a colon here and now in order to 9 use the colon, what comes before must be an independent clause. 10 And what comes after must also be an independent clause here. 11 Sometimes you can have a dependent clause after the colon, 12 but that only works as if it's a less than I'll show you why. 13 That's not the case here. Now our orange part says the designer envisions the 14 game's fundamental elements. It has a subject, 15 it has a verb. 16 It's a complete thought. So that makes it an independent clause. 17 But what comes after is only partially a list, 18 right?
