[Video] Q38: To the nearest dollar, what does the analyst believe the value of the stock will be at the end of three weeks? (note: disregard the $ sign when gridding your answer.)

Explanation for Question 38 From the Math (Calc) Section on the Official Sat Practice Test 4

Now looking at number 38 or asked to the nearest dollar, 2 right? So we don't want cents. We want dollars. 3 And what does the analysts believe will be the value of the stock? 4 It'd be end of three weeks. 5 And so we need to use this equation 360 R to the T. 6 And it's important that we also know the R and we got that by 7 doing question number 37, where we decided that our 0.72. 8 All right. So it's important to notice that tea is in weeks, 9 right? Tea tea is not in days or months or anything. 10 So if we want three weeks to go by, 11 we simply need to plug in three for tea. 12 We don't have to do any unit conversions. 13 Um, so our answer is going to be V, which is 360 times 0.72 14 to the third. And all we have to do now is plug that into 15 our calculator. And when we do, 16 we get 134.369. 17 Um, but remember we want to the nearest dollar. So we want to ignore 18 the sense we see if you have a three, 19 which means we round down for our dollar making our answer.
