Explanation for Question 21 From the Reading Section on the 2020 March Sat

Okay. So 21 says based on the passage, 2 how would an advocate of the theory of embodied cognition was likely explained 3 the results presented in the table? Remember the theory of cognition was, 4 um, that your mind is connected to the physical aspects. 5 So, you know, your thoughts get connected to what you actually doing. 6 And so this experiment was basically like your thoughts, 7 right? And you're looking at the picture of the handle and the handles on 8 the same side of your hand, that thinking is connected to what you actually 9 do, which is why you're faster when the handle on the same side as 10 your hand. So that's kind of how the author would explain this. 11 Um, so which one of these responses, um, 12 kind of like talks about that it's okay. When they're spontaneous on the same 13 side of the audit, the audit and photographs are easier to recognize. 14 No, no, it should be when the response comes on the same size as 15 the omnichannel, um, 16 then the brain, it takes it quick to adjust, 17 right? Because it's on the same side as the handle. 18 And your thoughts are connected to your fiscal risk. 19 Okay. Being when the response hand is on the same side of the omnichannel 20 central areas activate more slowly. No, they would have to get more quickly. 21 See when the response is on the opposite side, 22 then it takes longer for the brain to adjust. 23 Yes. Right. So the physicality, 24 the opposite side causes the thinking to be longer. 25 Right. Um, 26 so that's exactly what's happening here. See you the answer.
