Question nine asks the last paragraph mainly serves to do what? 2 So let's look back at the last paragraph here, 3 and we can kind of read through these little highlighted aspects and then talk 4 about what they mean in the larger context. 5 So the first one says imploring him to come to rye. 6 Also, as soon as he could to inspect the inside of the house whose 7 exterior he had so admired. So in this case, 8 it's just outlining his admiration for this property that he might have the 9 opportunity to own. It goes on to say, 10 he wondered if anyone watching him would know how momentous this journey was for 11 him, how exciting and how potentially disappointing. 12 So again, just explaining that he's really, 13 really pumped about getting the opportunity to live in this house. 14 And you can see in these next two, why he's excited. 15 So it says for so many years now, he had no country, 16 no family, no establishment of his own merely a flat in London where he 17 worked. 18 So based on this, you can kind of infer that this house 19 is giving him all these things that he hasn't had for so many years. 20 And so that's why it's exciting to him. And then in the last piece, 21 you can see that a lot more explicitly, it says lamb house would offer 22 him beautiful windows from which to view the world outside the outside intern 23 could peer in only at his invitation. 24 So basically what this paragraph is doing. 25 And we can see this from all of these lines is expressing his admirat...
