Next up is question number 13. 2 Another vocabulary question this time we are looking at the word associations 3 in line 42. So looking at line 42 in that second 4 half of the passage, um, 5 while many survey studies have found more or less strong associations between 6 helping and happiness, um, 7 this study in particular, um, 8 and this scientist wanted to test the connection in a real world setting. 9 So here we can take connection to me and, 10 um, or associations to me and a link, 11 a relationship between helping and happiness. 12 We're trying to figure out what the connection is, 13 what the relationship between these two things is. 14 And that's the goal of our study. So associations here most 15 matches up with the meaning of the word links. 16 Uh, these other answer choices, organizations, 17 combinations partnerships don't read quite as well in context. 18 So let's, let's see what that would look like if we did actually read 19 that in context, um, for choice 20 B, well, many survey studies have found more or less strong organizations 21 doesn't quite fit, um, combinations and partnerships. 22 Similarly don't fit in that context. 23 So associations, just the relationship between these two factors that the study is trying 24 to get to the bottom of.
