Explanation for Question 29 From the Writing Section on the 2019 April Sat

29 is asking us for the appropriate word choice in this situation, 2 the sentence says at each site they blank flock composition. 3 Um, in other words, the percentage of observed flocks that were mixed, 4 um, and measured the linearity of their songs. 5 So they took some different measurements. So here we want to look for the 6 appropriate verb in this case, 7 diagnosed is not the right fit, 8 the no change option, um, diagnosed with applied to, 9 um, uh, sort of a case where you're, you're applying, 10 um, not necessarily a prognosis, 11 but sort of assessing what is going on, 12 um, providing that diagnosis, 13 we would say so diagnosed, 14 maybe you might expect to find in more of a medical setting, 15 something like that. See traced. 24 This is, um, a slightly better answer to there. 25 They're looking at flat composition, but traced kind of has the implication that it's 26 occurring usually over time or, 27 or across a geographical spread or something like that. 28 There's not really, um, anything to suggest that we're talking about tracing anything over...
