Um, 11 we want to make sure that we're selecting a plural pronoun as well. 12 So it fits. Um, and for that reason, 13 we can eliminate choice a, the no change option, 14 which is currently a singular pronoun, B ones. 15 This is something we're going to use usually pertaining to possibly an animal, 16 but usually a human subject and something that's maybe a more general statement that 17 could be applied to a lot of people rather than one specific entity. 18 So this isn't the right fit here. Either answer choice C, 19 there is going to be plural. This is our correct answer because it correctly 20 applies a plural pronoun for a plural subject answer choice D 21 his or her doesn't really make sense. 22 This again, is talking about singular or singular. 23 We want the plural form.
