Explanation for Question 14 From the Reading Section on the 2018 April Sat

Hey guys. So question 14 says as used in line 28, 2 exact most nearly means what? 3 So I want us to go back right now and go back to line 4 28 and we read exact and let's just try and find a way to 5 replace it with our own wording. Okay. 6 Um, wait, 7 sorry, 28. Um, 8 yes, sorry. Um, 9 they're the ones who can tell you. So let's go back a little before 10 that you met people like that before, and they can be downright Erie. 11 Let's go back a little further actually, um, 12 to conduct a team of psychologists. 13 We're going to start here. They have a sample group of people with all 14 the same age in those ordinary memory. And those with what is known as 15 highly superior autobiographical memory, 16 H S a M so people can remember things really well. 17 You've met people like that before, and they can be downright Erie they're ones 18 who can tell you the exact date on which the particular events happened. 19 So here it is, is you all the really good memories can tell you 20 the exact date with when something happens. 21 So I think here exactly. Just saying like the, 22 you know, correct and specific, let's say like the specific date when something happened, 23 which is a pretty straight forward one to me, let's see which of these 24 goes in with specific, well, distinct means when something is like unique. 25 That's not what it's saying at all. It's not saying honest either. 26 It's saying like more at the specific date, not the honesty, 27 it's not about them telling the truth or a lie is about them knowing 28 like, you know, believing this to be this rigorous again, 29 isn't really what it's saying. It's not the rigorous state. 30 It's like the specific date, so that's gonna be wrong and precise. 31 You know, that's pretty much synonymous with, um, 32 specific or exact, 33 and that's going to be a correct.
