For question two, the sentence in question is the designation of a territory as 2 a national park national monument, 3 or other types of protected area can limit blah, 4 blah, blah. So our important section is the types 5 of protected area. If we look at our answer choice, 6 we're clearly talking about, um, 7 singular versus plural in this question, 8 because that's what changes from a, 9 B and C D is a little different protected aid types. 10 Um, we we'll see how that plays along, 11 but our main goal here is to figure out if types of area should 12 be singular or plural. If the sentence herself, 13 by saying the designation of a territory. 14 Now that is one singular territory, 15 right? Um, there's not more than one territory. 16 It's one. And then at the national park, 17 which is just a one and national monument, 18 just one, we can't go off to then say, 19 types of protected area. 20 We just need one type that is, 21 are now in this case, 22 the type of protected area is our preposition phrase. 23 It also, in this case, it's going to have to be singular because we 24 are only looking at one area. So if we look at our answer choices, 25 um, we know that a is not correct because it's plural B seems correct 26 type and area are singular, but let's look at C type of protected areas. 27 Um, again, we only have one territory. 28 Um, each of these in the list is one singular. 29 So national park is singular national monument. 30 A singular area still has to be singular. 31 And then D types, even though this format isn't wrong, 32 it's still plural, which makes it the answer choice incorrect. 33 So in this case, our answer choice is B type 34 of protected area.
