We want to make sure that 10 this language is a little bit more formal. 11 So fancy it up even more. If the no change option is a good 12 case of kind of saying something in writing that you might only really 13 speak verbally, it doesn't fit the tone of the rest of the passage. 14 Um, it's too informal. Uh, 15 similarly, um, answer choices, 16 B and D are kind of informal or less serious making it look super 17 rich is something you might say, but not something you would really write more 18 formally and give it a wow factor. 19 This is not really any kind of formal language that we would expect to 20 see in this piece. So answer choice C increase its splendor really makes the 21 most sense and matches the formal tone of the piece 22 that we're taking a look at here. So choice C is correct.
