Explanation for Question 26 From the Reading Section on the 2017 April Sat

Okay. Question number 26 is asking us, 2 um, based on the passage Bodkin Levinson's, 3 um, conclusions would be most weakened by a study. 4 That what, so whenever we see a question like this, 5 um, that saying would be most weakened by what we're looking for is which 6 one of these answer choices would kind of contradict their findings. 7 So when we approach this question, the first thing we need to do is 8 summarize what their finding was. And then we can select the answer choice that 9 most contradicts that finding. So let's take a look at these two 10 scientists, what their conclusions were. 11 Um, and they're discussed here, 12 um, at the end of this first column of the passage, 13 um, that their study is support the idea of refugees from the outer solar 14 system orbiting in the asteroid belt. 15 Um, so something that would kind of contradict their study would be, 16 um, this idea that, um, 17 these bodies from the outer solar system orbiting in the asteroid belt, 18 um, or some kind of alternative theory of where those, 19 um, objects from the outer source system came from. 20 Um, and they go on to talk about how, 21 um, the computer simulations are used to, 22 um, count the number of observed objects and compare that, 23 um, to estimates that kind of would be in place with, 24 and without, um, these like migrant bodies kind of moving throughout the solar 25 system. So looking at your answer choices, 26 uh, answered twice a, um, 27 a study that confirmed the heat from t...
